AddressPosition Responsibility summary:
Ø Responsible to solve the queries of the Patient in terms of their diet
Ø Responsible to solve the queries of the Patient in regard to the various exercises/fitness apart from the diet plan also.
Ø Teach Patients and their families about nutrition, diet, and food selection
Ø Responsible to translate scientific information about food into practical dietary advice for people on normal and therapeutic diets
Ø Educating and advising a wide range of patients with diet-related disorders on the practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier eating habits
Ø Translating the science of nutrition into everyday information about food
Ø The major technical skill a dietitian must have includes an extensive knowledge of the food pyramid and the ability to count calories. This means a dietitian must have extensive technical knowledge regarding the appropriate sources of nutrients and supplements and an understanding of how those substances work together within the body.
Ø Screening the patients for Cardiac, Diabetes.
Ø Uploading patient details on CAS.
Ø Attending 2 Hospital OPD camps in a day as per given schedule.
Profile’s Basic Requirements:
Ø Should have sound medical knowledge (BMI, BMR, CBC, blood sugar levels, Hb count etc.)
Ø Lifestyle modifications
Ø Good communication in local language + English, Hindi
Ø Must be graduate in Dietetics/ Diploma/ PG in Dietetics
Ø Working experience in Hospital/Healthcare / Insurance sector would be added advantage.
