AddressCheif Operation Officer
About the role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented COO to join our leadership team and play a vital role in driving our company's success. As the right-hand person to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, from setting strategic direction to ensuring efficient daily execution.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning
- Partner with other C-level executives to accomplish short and long-term operational goals
2. Team management:
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
3. Operational management:
- Measure and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant key performance indicators
- Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement
- Get into micro and macro of execution and planning
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to manufacturing operations.
4. Stakeholder management:
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Work closely with SCM, Production, Design, Quality & Engineering to achieve business goals
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive cross-functional collaboration.
