We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofBusiness Analyst - Scheme Funds & Rewards Management.

The Opportunity:

• HSBC currently has global contract with Visa and Mastercard (Networks/ Schemes) and key rewards partners.
• As part of these global contracts HSBC receives millions of Dollars in rebates and for strategic investments from the Networks and will also negotiate key rewards contracts eg Major airlines when we spend ~$100M on redemption across these partners.
• This role will be responsible for providing analysis of the underlying incentives offered by each Networks to ensure we optimize the benefits provided. The person will be responsible for beefing up the managing and reporting the e2e process of funding proposals, claims and rebates and do up analytic simulations on the fees and charges to enable better contract renewals and negotiations.
• Person will be also involve in rewards redemption and cost simulation to ensure we can structure better rewards contracts to drive down cost per point.

What you’ll do:

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)

• Ensure governance of proposal before submission to schemes
• Systemic approval of all funding proposal and claims
• Coordinate between schemes and product owners for approval of proposals
• Follow up with product owners for submission of claims
• Coordinate between schemes and fund management analyst for claims processing
• Develop Tracking and reporting tools (mainly in Excel) to provideOverview of all proposals submitted by markets and business units Utilisation of global and regional funds Claims
• Management of financial transactions between group and local finance teams
• Provide analysis of budgetary impacts
• Manage quarterly scheme rebates
• Financial analysis for RFPs and ongoing projects
• Build simulation on rewards redemption and cost per points associated with it to help key global rewards partnership negotiation
• Work with markets to ensure that major rewards contracts/ deals are appropriately optimized in terms of costing
• Management of internal TPRM processes
• Coordinate with schemes to close all TPRM requirements
• Management of internal TPSR processes
• Coordinate with schemes to close all TPSR requirements
