About the department
Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 900+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Cross IT department is an integral part of the DD&IT and is responsible for supporting, operating, and further developing the portfolio of IT Systems used across departments in Novo Nordisk. The position
As an SME on Business Intelligence Technologies at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for architecting the data and managing day-to-day processes and strategic direction for IO Engage APAC/SEEMEA Data and Analytics and serve as the subject matter expert on Business Intelligence technologies like Power BI and Qlik Sense.
- Develop and support applications and solutions for APAC/SEEMEA affiliates with anchoring as functional lead for the Power BI IO Engage deliverables.
- Architect data lake models to ensure data quality.
- Leveraged Power BI, DAX, and SQL to construct dynamic dashboards displaying key business metrics, increasing decision-making efficiency along with developing and enhancing Power BI reports for different business requirements.
- Working on migration of Qlik Sense /Tableau reports to Power BI.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience within IT with relevant 3+ years of ETL and visualization expertise in Power BI.
- Strong analytical and data handling skills, including proficiency in Power BI with DAX queries.
- Good experience in Power Automate and Power App is an add on.
- Experience in data transformations, building data models, and visualizations.
- Strong BI and visualization skills in Power BI.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools like Qlik Sense or Tableau.
- Excellent technical writing and analytical thinking skills.
- Good in stakeholder management to identify and automate solutions, reducing manual work.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Should have good communication and presentation skills.
