G__F-HRC-0010 V02E01 9400 Human Resources G__F-HRC-0010 V01E02 9400 Human Ressources JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE JOB FAMILY DATE Blow Molding Specialist MANUFACTURING 09/03/2022 MANAGER TITLE (solid line) FUNCTIONAL MANAGER TITLE (dotted line) Manager Production N/A MISSION Plan, direct & coordinate Product Line team operations with pre-established objectives, at option cost and quality which meets or exceeds customer requirements. Responsible for all shift activities and the day to day production operations. The Manufacturing Manager is also responsible for the planning, directing and coordination of continuous improvement activities and events that result in savings for the plant (IPS Facilitator for the Ranipet Facility). Unusual hours and travel may be required. This is a salaried exempt position. Primary Responsibilities Responsibility 1 Product Line (P&L, Manufacturing, Machine PM, Minor Maintenance, Quality, Scrap, Safety, and training of Associates). Manage Inergy Production System Activities (IPS) Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises. Manage Continuous Improvement through planned events. Responsibility 2: Direct activities that result in cost savings for the facility. Gather, analyze and maintain data, including reporting of trends and improvements. Manage and coach the manufacturing and continuous improvement associates to ensure optimal safety, quality and productivity standards. Follow LOTO procedure where ever required &Check the LOTO compliance in plant if found any deviation correct it and communicate to Safety Officer. Responsibility 3: Authority to stop the machine in case of any abnormality found.\ Conformity to product requirement have the authority to stop shipment and stop production. Responsibility 4: ORGANIZATION POSITION KEY INTERFACES (internal and/or external) Internal Down Time and Micro Down Time MTBF MTTR Stabilization of Utility Safety Performance Status External POSITION BACK UP Manager Production KEY MEASURES &FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Personal Background Requires at least 5 years of manufacturing experience. Maintenance, Blow Molding a plus. Must have workable knowledge of budgets, inventory, costing, scheduling and customer interface. Must successfully complete all required training Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures. Must comply with all safety rules and regulations Work requires sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping and climbing. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Job Soft skills B.S. in Industrial, Business Management or Engineering or CIPET or equivalent work experience. Must have a thorough knowledge of the assigned Product Line (Fuel Systems) including operations, procedures, products, terminology, quality standards, and equipment. Develop and maintain both a safe facility environment and a workforce capable of meeting manufacturing requirements in accordance with production & delivery schedules. Requires good written and verbal communication skills and good human relation skills.
