Asst Manager Land Lease & Legal (Gandhalpada)

1. Resolve legal cases arising out of land and revenue matters

2. Make available land for Project activities i.e. within and outside mining lease; non forest land, forest land and R&R of the project people

3. Settlement of land. It would include settling disputes, formulation of legal agreements and execution and implementation Close networking with the project affected people, govt agencies and other stakeholders Mining Leases, Land Leases and Forest

4. Clearance- Prepare applications/ letters for Mining Lease and Land Leases for the company.
Coordinate and follow-up with Govt. Officials in Mining Department for processing of Mining Lease deed sign-off and extend support, Work on regularization of all land records in favour of the company including purchased lands

5. Conduct field visits for ascertaining claims of various tenants and illegal possession related to acquisition of land within and outside lease

6. Prepare renewal applications for various Land Leases of the company. Coordinate and follow-up at Block and District Level Govt.

7. Officials in Mining Department to facilitate Mining Lease correspondences.

8. Prepare Forest Diversion Proposals and comply all requirement for processing of proposal.

9. Monitor compliance to all conditions stipulated in the Forest Clearances obtained Coordinate and follow-up with forest officials at Range Office,

10. Prepare Forest Diversion Proposals and comply all requirement for processing of proposal.

11. Monitor compliance to all conditions stipulated in the Forest Clearances obtained
Coordinate and follow-up with forest officials at Range Office, Divisional Office and Regional Office for processing of the diversion proposals/ schemes/ conservation plans

12. Attend various meetings with Govt. Officials in Mining Department related to lease and statutory levies and regular liaison Maintain Land and Lease records related to the project and adjoining Land Leases

13. Legal Scrutiny of Legal notices and extend necessary support for preparing suitable reply, Prepare Legal agreements for different departments of the division, Coordinate with company's Legal Counsel and provide inputs for submitting suitable reply on different matters listed in courts.

14. Prepare and submit notices and returns as per the Lease Deed agreements for Mining Lease and Land Lease, Coordinate with DDM Office for issues related to statutory levies and despatch permission on as an when required basis Coordinate with Head Operation/Mines manager to restrict illegal mining operation related to mining lease.

15. Identify various Legal and statutory requirements arising out of various circulars and court orders

Technical Competencies

• Candidates must have knowledge on Govt. rules and regulations & processes regarding Land Acquisition, Land Lease, Forest diversion proposals etc.

• The candidate should have legal experience in dealing with land, revenue, forest officials & Legal matters.

Bachelor's Degree with LLB Preffered
