BIETC is currently looking for Associate Model based System Equipment Tool Engineer (MBE Tooling Engineer) to join Production Engineering team in Bangalore. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial (BCA) business organization.


A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the Production Engineering Teams to implement the Tool design solutions.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Develop Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models for Tool Engineering
  • Developing formal systems engineering artefacts for Tool Engineering
  • Linking digital analysis and simulation models to requirements
  • Developing training plans and train team members 
  • Development and implementation of new designs of the program architecture for build. With the specific focus on Producibility aspects.
  • Analysis and resolution of the technical problems from the manufacturing engineering perspective.
  • Develops and maintains technical relationships / partnerships with customers, suppliers, peers, partners and team members to develop collaborative plans and execute on projects.
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with experts in Boeing organizations around the world. Support initiatives on engineering excellence, employee development, mentoring, and customer engagement.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a Basic Qualification.
  • Knowledge of systems modelling (e.g. Cameo, Rhapsody) and requirements management (e.g. DOORS) systems.
  • Knowledge of CATIA and Enovia, as well as the 3DEXPERIENCE environment.
  • Knowledge of modelling and simulation tools across a variety of domains such as those found in ANSYS suite, Dassault Simulia, MATLAB & Simulink, Siemens Simcenter, etc.
  • Knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation (DES) systems such as Delmia, SimEvents, Simio, ProModel, etc.
  • Provide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the entire Tool engineering team
    Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and Tool engineering.
    Perform functional and logical decomposition of system and develop requirements, perform three way mapping of requirements, functions and logical elements
  • Exposure / Experience in Tool Engineering.
  • Flexibility to learn and work across a variety of aerospace manufacturing technologies and applications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate productively in multidiscipline teaming environments.
  • Robust understanding of Production engineering Fundamentals.
  • Must have excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Should be able to work in dynamic team work environment with core requirements team.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment
  • Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within Boeing and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, Statements of Work, and connect technology to business considerations.

Typical Education & Experience:


Bachelor's with Minimum 5+ years of experience / Master’s degree with 4+ or more years' experience in Aerospace/Mechanical /Production/Industrial Engineering.
