Job Title : Associate Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain

Purpose of the Position :
Manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Forecast how much inventory will be needed by a specific date in order to satisfy the expectations of a client or an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for procurement planning for both commercial and sample products; Inventory planning and management;
- Support in identification, selection & including definition of commercial & operating contract condition with 3rd party logistics providers including warehouse;
- Ensure timely custom clearance of all imported goods after due compliance of regulatory requirements;
- Lead in continuous improvement logistics activities/projects to improve efficiency and cost;
- Responsible for inventory reporting and numbers collection in providing weekly/monthly management report on status of activities;
- Ensure proper registration; seek proper licenses, permissions, approvals, authorizations etc. from relevant governmental authorities for carrying on of warehousing, transportation, sales etc. activities;
- Responsible for customer audit and company internal audit & implementation of audit recommendation.
- Responsible for annual stock takes and warehouses audit;
- Responsible for handling customer service activities for Bangladesh (HC Product & Services) as per bill to ship model.
- Co-ordinating for documentation with Regional sales based at Bangladesh, Germany Global Sales Support (GSS) team.
- Payment Follow up with the customer based in Bangladesh.
- Responsible for warehouse audits (internal and External) and aligning with Evonik HC QA & EIPL Safety team
- Responsible for preparation of vendor questionnaire and aligning with Evonik HC QA & EIPL Safety team
- Responsible for streamlining of import process for amino acids & APIs which falls under high risk/ high scrutiny category for Indian customs.
Education, Certification and/or relevant experience required :
- D.Pharm/ B.Pharm with minimum 3 years of relevant customer service experience alongwith logisitcs & warehousing management.
- Preferred from Pharma / Chemical industry background.
- Knowledge of SAP (MM Module) or ERP is must.
- MBA in Supply Chain will be added advantage
