Overview:
To Perform Systems engineering activities as per ARP4754 guidelines for various Sensors System products like air data system, ice detector system, fire protection system. This includes but not limited to System requirements Capture, Requirement management, System architecture design, modeling and simulation analysis, system integration, verification and certification. Work with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate the technical efforts towards realizing project goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out end-to-end Systems Engineering activities as per ARP 4754 guidelines.
- Proficiency and minimum of 2 years work experience on ARP 4754 process.
- System development, System Integration, System verification and validation, and System Qualification.
- Model Based Design with MBD tools like MATLAB / Simulink for model development and scripting.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant industry experience as a Systems Engineer in system requirements management, system verification and validation, system modelling of sensor systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical capability.
- Work experience with ARP 4754, ARP-4761, DO-160 and familiarity with DO-254 and DO-178 Certification standards.
- Working experience with Communication protocols: CAN, ARINC, AFDX, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, etc.
- Understanding about Prognostics Health monitoring algorithm.
- MATLAB/Simulink for model development and scripting.
- DOORS, Polarion, JAMA requirement management tools
- Ability to perform / lead design reviews, non-advocate reviews and project reviews
- Working knowledge of sensor and control systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical capability
- Good understanding of digital signal processing
