AddressThis role is responsible for all Compliance (called the function) related topics for Allianz Technology India Branch and Allianz Services Pvt Ltd India. Scope of the role may be expanded to cover other select geography/ies as well.
You will
- Responsible and Accountable for the outputs and outcomes delivered by the SME's in the Compliance function. Team and remit may include billable team members supporting other Allianz Technology branches.
- Provide counsel to senior management on Compliance areas. Advising all divisions and departments on relevant compliance topics.
- Responsible to the Management to strategically align functional activities to Global Compliance ambitions and other strategic group ambitions.
- Interact and liaise with Regulators as and when required to support the organisation in terms of compliance to regulations. Work closely with Auditors and investigators as and when required to support the organization.
- Liaise with other teams in Assurance area to have a joined-up approach for relevant Safeguarding topics. Work closely with first, second and third line holders within the organisation.
- Engage and communicate with the Central and Regional functions. Communicate relevant and appropriate topics in the India organisation to take the required corrective and preventive actions from Compliance perspective
- Responsible for Awareness campaigns within the India organisation; Managing the budget of the function; Managing resilience of the function; Managing hiring and performance management for the team members; Managing all supervisory requirements to ensure objectives of the function is validated for accurateness and correctness.
Your skills
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Compliance functions, including atleast 5-6 year with Financial, IT, Insurance, Technology or ITES companies. Good understanding of Indian Legal landscape and regulations is an added advantage.
- Compliance related certifications strongly preferred.
- Strong professional ethics and integrity
- Excellent command over English language (both writing & speaking skills)
University degree (in Law preferred but not mandatory) from a top tier accredited institution.
