Function: Assistant Sales Manager- Waste Water (B2B)

Location: Dehradun/Delhi

Experience: 3-4 Years

The Role

This is a mid -level managerial role, reporting to the CEO/Director. Accordingly, the key expectations would be as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Techno Sales Executive specializing in the Water and Wastewater industry. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, with the ability to prepare and present proposals, understand culture media selling, and demonstrate technical proficiency in Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).

1-Industry Knowledge:

· Stay abreast of developments in the water and wastewater industry, including emerging technologies, regulations, and market trends.

· Demonstrate a deep understanding of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies.

2-Proposal Preparation:

· Develop comprehensive and customized proposals or offers based on client requirements.

· Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposals align with the company's capabilities and standards.

3-Culture Media Selling:

· Possess expertise in selling culture media related to water and wastewater treatment.

· Identify customer needs for culture media and provide tailored solutions.

4-Lead Generation and Sales:

· Independently generate leads through market research, networking, and other effective strategies.

· Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to close deals.

5-Technical Proficiency:

· Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).

· Provide technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring a clear understanding of the offered solutions.

6-Client Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

· Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

· 3-4 years' experience in Microbial culture sales within the water and wastewater industry.

· Strong understanding of ETP and STP plants.

· Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

· Proficiency in preparing and delivering technical presentations.

· Familiarity with relevant software and tools for sales and proposal preparation.

Skills:

· Sales and negotiation skills.

· Proposal preparation and presentation skills.

· Strong networking and lead generation abilities.

· Customer-focused approach and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:

· Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
