Job Purpose

The incumbent shall handle Spare Parts business operations, as Area parts Manager for the Gujarat Region located

at Ahmedabad, by actively engaging with distributors, retailers, and mechanics to promote and enhance business to

achieve the assigned SBP targets for the region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Being instrumental in driving strategic business priorities to achieve the monthly and yearly business

targets for the regions.

  • Responsible for distributors' parts, oil, and lube business for the regions by actively collaborating with

retailers and mechanics in the regions.

  • Monitoring and analyzing the distributor's inventories as per norms to ensure the parts availability &

gauging any gaps for normalization.

  • Deploying daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reports on necessary sales parameters to evaluate

the business performance.

  • Driving Retailers and mechanic engagement initiatives and programs to maximize the coverage and

onboarding of Retailers and mechanics to develop the parts, oil, and lubes business.

  • Studying the weekly and monthly order patterns of each distributor and retailer to understand the

parts, oils & lubes sales movement and, accordingly, devising strategic business plans to promote

and scale up the business.

  • Championing the readiness and availability of newly launched vehicle parts availability with

distributors.

  • Evaluating the competitors in the markets and identifying the spurious parts sources in the markets

highlighting to the management

  • Identifying and onboarding new distributors in the territories.
  • Promoting and enhancing GMA (Genuine Motorcycle Accessories) and RE Essential (RE Bike Care

products) business in the regions

  • Planning and organizing promotion initiatives like street and van campaigning to enhance sales and

business

  • Sustaining regular meetings with Distributors, Retailers, and Mechanics to establish the business

connection to monitor and evaluate the business performance.


Work Experience

Education

Bachelors in Engineering/Technology


Experience

  • 5 to 8 yrs experience
  • Should possess knowledge on Automotive spare parts Sales Planning
  • Certification in Project/Program Management Sales & Marketing
