Job Overview:
\r
Accounts assistants supply administrative support to accountants by performing clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails and basic bookkeeping
\r
Key Responsibilities:
\r
- \r
- Tally data entry including sales, purchase, receipts, payments, bank reconciliation statement, and preparation of debtors / creditors statements. \r
- Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payments. \r
- Handling petty cash, preparing bills and receipts. \r
- Maintaining accounting records, making copies, filing documents, etc. \r
- Thorough with statutory compliance of deducted and collected taxes viz Service Tax, TDS, Profession tax. \r
- Knowledge of returns for e-TDS, Service Tax, Profession tax. \r
- Bank reconciliation. \r
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation. \r
Requirements:
\r
- \r
- Com or M. Com qualification is required. \r
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required. \r
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel & Word) is a must and experience in using Tally 9. \r
- Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and ability to deal with customers and external contacts. \r
- Proactive and well organized. \r
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team. \r
