Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Head to oversee the financial operations of our company. As Account Head, you will be responsible for managing the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team. This is a senior-level position, requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA)
• 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial management
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Tally ERP)
• Proficiency in GST filing, TDS filing, and finalization of accounts
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Manage cash flow and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the management team
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial processes and drive efficiency
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including performance evaluations and professional development
• Stay updated with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and reporting requirements
• Handle audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
