JOB TITLE : Zonal Marketing Manager

POSITION REPORTING TO | Administrative reporting to Zonal Business Head & functionally reporting to Head - Field Marketing |
OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for implementation of marketing strategies in the zone, subject to budget parameters at Regional and Territory levels and support zonal sales objective.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate development of campaign plans for brand promotion of specific products
- Implement crop specific/ product specific/ segment specific marketing strategies
- Organise strategy meets and trade meets in coordination with the sales team
- Facilitate the sales team in achieving their objectives/ budgets/ targets" thru :
(a) Enriching their product knowledge
(b) Monitoring sales campaign with specific objectives like - liquidation, demonstrations and farmer meets, field days, conduct post market campaign audits
(c ) Arranging promotional inputs timely such as leaflets, posters, banners, POP
(d) Allocation of Demo samples
(e ) Allocation and monitoring of “sales promotion” spend budgets at Region and Territory level depending up on the potential and priorities
(f) Scrutinizing and clearing the promotional expenses claims for issuing credit notes / disbursement
(g) Participation in selection process of Temporary staff
- Develop market intelligence & knowledge conducive to business development, by assessing the regional crop wise / product wise potential and existing market size
- Guide sales team in identifying the right product fit against competition.
- Give timely communication of relevant marketing information and also submit weekly, monthly marketing reports for review
- Assist in Govt. subsidy business and Institutional business in consultation with Zonal Manager
- Assist in obtaining the sales permissions from the Department of Agriculture and arranging Principal certificates
- Maintain rapport with Agricultural Institutes, Research Stations, KVKs.
- Provide guidance in arranging “Product/ Strategy meets” and “Trade Meets”.
- Maintain data regarding dealers, farmers / village level.
- Provide weekly MIS to Field Marketing Head
- Work in consultation with Field Marketing Head on implementation of marketing strategy for respective zone
