Job Description:
As the FP&A Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the Financial Planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the company. You will work closely with the finance team, as well as other departments, to provide key financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
1. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
2. Work with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.
3. Provide financial guidance and support for business planning activities.
4. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
6. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results and provide explanations.
7. Develop and maintain key financial metrics and KPIs for performance tracking.
B. Forecasting and Modeling:
1. Create financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
2. Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess potential risks and opportunities.
C. Financial Performance Monitoring:
1. Monitor financial performance against key performance indicators and benchmarks.
2. Identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
D. Cross-functional Collaboration:
1. Collaborate with various departments to understand their financial needs and provide relevant support.
2. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
3. Ad-hoc Analysis and Special Projects
4. Assist in special projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, or process improvements.
5. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide insights as requested.
Qualifications:
1. We are only looking to hire a CA or MBA from top B-Schools.
2. 4-10 years of experience in Financial Planning and analysis.
3. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using tools like Excel, and familiarity with financial software systems.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills.
