- A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and organization of warehouse operations
- They ensure the safe and efficient handling of inventory, supervise warehouse staff, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:- Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory tracking, including cycle counting and reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder requests as necessary.
- Implement and maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and other inventory control methods.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse tasks.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and ensure timely shipments.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and material handling.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including forklift operators, pickers, and packers.
- Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety training.
- Implement quality control measures to prevent damaged or defective products from being shipped.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain product quality.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and conveyor systems.
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, including productivity and inventory accuracy.
- Provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor and control warehouse expenses, including labor costs and operational expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations.
- Ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in logistics or a related field may be preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
