Position:Warehouse Forklift Operator

Location: Dahod, Gujarat

Education & Qualification: 12th Grade (minimum)

Experience: Previous experience of 2-3 years in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, Perform warehouse activity with use of MHE.
• Basic knowledge on word identification (reading part numbers) and math skills for accurate counting, sorting, and recording warehouse items.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment forklifts, stackers, and pallet hand trucks, Tugger, EOT crane, dock leveler and additional warehouse machinery (certification may be required).
• Commitment to safety and compliance with established procedures and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Receiving: Unloading incoming shipments . Inspecting and reporting physical received packages for damages during transit.
• Counting: Verification of part as per Invoice (qty and number of parts)
• Storage: Material movement after quality clearance to designated location with safe material storage. ZERO location discrepancy.
• Picking: Picking material from warehouse locations as per demand order(Type of item/qty) shared by Warehouse executive and delivery of kits to assigned production station.
• Packing: Packing items as per instruction from Warehouse executive for outbound logistics.
• Inventory verification: Inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and reporting any shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, stackers, and pallet hand trucks , Tugger, EOT crane, dock leveler and additional warehouse machinery for material movement.
• Additional use of Basic knowledge on handling tools and equipment with preservation.
• Safety: adherence of Company safety Guidelines(EHS) and reporting of unsafe conditions etc.
• Identification: clear identification of part numbers and basic details in invoice , warehouse documents and on material (physical).
• Daily verification of checklist for MHE.
