Walk-in Interviews for appointment to two posts of Guest Faculty, Odd-semester, Academic Session
2022-23 in the School of Communication Studies (SCS) will be held on 04.11.22 in the office of the

Chairperson, as per the schedule given below:-

Eligibility Criteria: 

Essential qualifications as per UGC & PU Guidelines: MA in Journalism & Mass Communication or
equivalent with good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks

(50% marks in case of SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped) or an equivalent grade

at the Masters degree level.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility

Test (NET) conducted by the UGC in Journalism & Mass Communication or must fulfill the other

UGC regulations for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in
the University/College/Institute. 

Desirable qualifications: Working knowledge of editing and design software (Quark Xpress,
CorelDraw, Final Cut Pro (FCP), Adobe etc.); Video Camera handling.

Honorarium and work details: 

The post is on purely temporary/contract basis with a salary/honorarium of Rs.1000/- per lecture with
an upper limit of Rs. 25000/- per month consolidated. 

Working hours will be from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m, Monday to Friday. 

Classes/subjects to be taught will be as per requirement.

Note:

1. All the applicants are advised to bring their original certificates and other relevant documents for
verification along with the duly filled application form strictly between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. No
walk-ins will be entertained once the interview process commences.

2. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
