Role: Visualizer, Illustrator and Motion Graphics Animator
Job description:
We're looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join our E-learning Media department, who should have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for designing Motion Graphics / e-learning videos / explainer videos / promotional videos and infographics animation. The candidate must be a visual storyteller, creative, organised, and highly motivated team member who brings a strong design aesthetic and enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced and collaborative environment. He/she must be able to analyse learner needs, industry trends and improve Motion Graphics quality over time as per the stated objectives of the organisation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Using Motion Graphics and animation to visually illustrate academic content through e-learning and explainer videos.
- Able to create engaging videos (Visualisation, illustration, animation & composition)
- Come up with concepts, ideas, and illustrations from the target audience point of view.
- Should know how to create/edit graphics in Photoshop, Illustrator, new gen tools
- Re-create rough storyboard/PowerPoint slides by Instructional designers into visually compelling graphics and animation
- Should be able to think of design concepts by looking at the content.
- Understand animation requirements from script & story line.
- Creating 2d Animation using Adobe After Effects
- Work as part of a production team, that includes writers, Instructional designers, managers, other designers, video crew, marketing & sales team.
- Creation of animated assets to be used independently or in a composition/ live action video.
- Establishing and executing a visual style and identity for every assigned project.
- Asset management and maintenance through and beyond projects.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
- Adding motion graphic effects/elements over a video footage enhancing the video output
- Familiarise with the brand proposition and its language, design elements
- Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
- Research and analyse best design techniques and solutions to create Motion Graphics.
- Collaborate with fellow content/design team members on various projects and tasks

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest motions graphics design techniques.
Desired skills and Experience:
- 3 to years of experience within the industry working with Graphics design/ Motion graphics
- Ability to help visualize complex ideas, storyboard, and data into simple to read, easy to understand design materials.
- Prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects
- Proficiency with design software (such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition)
- Excellent understanding of colour, composition, and typography.
- Experience of working in E-Learning/EdTech Domain an advantage
