LOCATION: Altimus 16th Floor, Ashram Rd, behind Sales India, Shreyas Colony, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380009
WORK HOURS: 6:30PM TO 3:30AM IST (MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

iConsultera is seeking for candidates as “Tax Preparer” with strong educational background and some corporate experience including but not limited to Calculation of tax payments, estimate tax returns, deductibles,complete client’s tax documentation. This professional will work on the assigned set of clients/portfolios and perform said responsibilities in the best professional manner.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Consults with clients to develop a basic understanding of their financial affairs and the scope of their tax liabilities.
• Reviews previoUS TAX returns and financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation.
• Uses the appropriate accounting software or system to prepare tax returns.
• Calculates taxes owed or refunds due to client; consults tax law publications for guidance on unusual situations.
• Files tax returns for clients.
• Maintains understanding and knowledge of changes in tax law by reading professional literature or attending tax seminars and training courses.
• Review a variety of financial documents to prepare tax returns and provide tax services
• Interview clients as needed to determine the best path for their needs

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Accurate math and accounting skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• An Individual should have previous experience of at least 2 years with Tax Preparation of US Corps including 1080, 1120 and 1120s.
• Exposure and or experience either or multiple tools including but not limited QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Tally, MYOB, SAP and Accounting CS.
