US Payroll Lead

Designation Sr Manager

Location - Jaipur

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the preparation of all payroll activities including payroll payments, reports and forecasts including tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies and payroll management reports for a US and Canada based organization
• Comply with all the payroll financial and legal requirements, responsibilities, and obligations, including statutory obligations
• Maintain and document all payroll records
• Responsibility for allocation and use of the payroll budget
• Assist your line manager to assess the long-term payroll trends
• Review reports and analyze projections of payroll
• Responsibility for the payroll team direction, development, performance and maintenance within the organization
• Detect and process issues related to uncollected payroll
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
• Customer relationship, drive confidence, and improve customer happiness and lead all the process update calls with customers/stakeholders
• Drive efficiency, accuracy and value- added initiatives
• Adheres to all SOX/Control requirements
• Handling audit queries and resolution in a timely manner
• Contributing to periodic meetings, liaising with stakeholders for quick resolution.
• Stay up to date with labor legislation/laws and any changes in employee insurance and tax regulations.

Qualification, Experience/Competencies

• Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, Post Graduate with relevant experience
• 10-15 years of relevant experience with a US based company and working as a Payroll Lead
• Exceptional people management skills
• Communication with external payroll vendors such as ADP
• Understanding of KPI/SLAs in RTR domain
• Good Knowledge of US and Canada payroll regulations
• Working in US shift
• Experience in team leading is must
• Assist and support the training and development of team members to meet the expected skills required to perform at role level

Technology/ERP

• Hands-on experience with payroll software ADP EV5 and ADP Workforce, Workday an advantage
• Strong ADP report writing skills
• Understanding of latest tools and technology Workflow, Digital Dashboards
• Expert working knowledge of MS office with advance excel
• Knowledge of D365 will be an added advantage
