Job Overview
The US Onboarding Specialist position at Akshar Staffing is a full-time role based in Houston, Texas. We are seeking a candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. As an Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in HR or a related field
- Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and best practices
- Familiarity with HRIS and other HR software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and explaining company policies and procedures
- Collect and process new hire paperwork and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Create and maintain employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate
- Assist in the development and delivery of employee onboarding programs and initiatives to enhance the onboarding experience
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires, answering any questions and providing guidance throughout the onboarding process
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Track and report onboarding metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to employee onboarding and suggest improvements to existing processes
- Support other HR initiatives and projects as needed
