We are looking for a Software Engineer who works on problem solving through programming, bug fixing, testing, and troubleshooting any issues reported by internal/external users
- Implements simple features or test cases, more complex features or test cases with assistance.
- Communicates well within team and with extended team members. Escalates issues as and when required.
- Estimates own tasks with some guidance. Tasks may be of increased number and duration. Captures actual efforts and shares status reports.
- Understands requirements in area of defined tasks, Designs bounded code areas or test cases at component level.
- Writes quality code and may review others code for defect.
- Writes/runs tests in bounded product areas. Make suggestions for improving tests.
- Gathers information to assist in problem debug and resolution. Proficient in the use of Diagnostic Tools
- Fix defects in bounded areas of code.
- Collaborates effectively in local and virtual teams.
- Participates in Innovation activities by commenting and generating ideas as part of a team.
- Creates and maintains Knowledge Documents.
Skills :
- Proficient in Angular, JavaScript, Node JS, HTML, CSS.
- Proficient in any one NoSQL databases i.e. Elasticsearch, MongoDB or Redis.
- Basic understanding of Docker and Microservice Architecture and VB Macros.
- Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.
- Advantage if the candidate is familiar with Agile methodology, Jira, scripting and macros.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Computer Science/EE undergraduate degree or demonstrated equivalent knowledge.
- 2-4 years of experience within applications / systems engineering organization.
- Understand Product Life Cycle management in applications/systems engineering environment, with focus on agile methodologies.
- Ability to work in a global team, with multiple stakeholders across functions, business units and geographical regions
- Ability to communicate task information with clients
- Knowledge of Engineering Concepts
- Team Player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good command over English language.
