About the Role:
- The role directly contributes to the Carrier's cybersecurity program by ensuring secure identity and access management. This is crucial for protecting sensitive data and systems of Carrier.
- IAM is a rapidly evolving field, and working as a specialist in this area offers continuous learning opportunities. It can lead to career growth in Cybersecurity and/or in other digital organizations as the candidate becomes an expert in identity and access management.
- IAM specialists often work closely with various teams, including IT, security, compliance, and business units. This collaboration offers visibility into different aspects of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect SailPoint Identity Now & IdentityIQ solutions based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain the overall system architecture for identity governance.
- Develop and manage connectors for integrating with various applications, directories, and systems.
- Oversee identity governance processes, including access certifications, policy enforcement, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to SailPoint IIQ implementation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for problems and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Digital teams, and application owners to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other teams involved in IAM processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, processes, and customizations.
- Document troubleshooting procedures for common issues.
- Provide training to end-users and administrators on SailPoint IIQ functionality.
- Share knowledge with the support teams and other relevant stakeholders to enhance overall IAM expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is often required.
- Must have 10 + years of IT experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in identity and access management roles, including specific experience with SailPoint or similar IGA solutions.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. The ability to lead IAM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners/vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in addressing complex identity and access management challenges.
