Description

The Technical Sales Officer (TSO) is a vital member of our sales team, responsible for planning, executing, and reporting secondary sales activities from distributors to dealers and further to farmers. This role involves meticulous planning, effective communication, and strategic relationship management to ensure smooth stock liquidation and outstanding collections.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and generate secondary sales of healthcare products from distributors to dealers.
  • Plan and execute stock liquidation from dealers to farmers in alignment with company goals.
  • Maintain constant communication and foster positive relationships with dealers and farmers.
  • Accurately report sales generation, stock liquidation, and outstanding collections on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize employee planning and reporting books to facilitate efficient planning and reporting processes.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand dealer capacities, competitors' product movement, and farmer networks.
  • Collaborate with dealers to estimate yearly turnover, breaking it down into achievable monthly targets.
  • Monitor stock levels and outstanding payments at dealer points on a weekly basis.
  • Create a weekly tour plan based on stock levels, outstanding amounts, and farmer interactions to ensure effective stock liquidation and collection.
  • Document farmer interactions, pond conditions, and solutions provided to improve product offerings and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales and relationship management within the shrimp healthcare industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market data and create effective sales strategies.
  • Proficient in using planning and reporting tools like planning books and reporting books.
  • Experience : 2-4 yrs.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal veterinary or Aquaculture.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with a passion for sales and customer engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing market dynamics.
