AddressTechnical Illustrator (Technical publication) Location: Bangalore Reporting: Technical publication Manager Nature of work: Individual & Team contributor Purpose: To co-ordinate with global team and create/modify technical documents (Parts, Product information, Maintenance & Safety manuals) Principal Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyse technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
• Create/modify the parts manuals.
• Create/modify the Illustration's in ISODRAW.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet all documentation deliverable deadlines.
• Manage workload and achieve results with minimal supervision.
• Report project status to key stakeholders.
Essential Skills: • Proficient in IsoDraw, Adobe tools.
• Proficient in MS Word, Adobe In-design & Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Knowledge on Compressor products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Global teams.
• Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desired Skills: • Experience in content management system (CMS) such as Windchill.
• Knowledge of graphic tools, such as Adobe illustrator & Photoshop.
• Experience in document translation with multi languages.
• Strong creative problem-solving mind-set. Experience in agile environments would be an advantage Personal Skills: • Proactive, self-motivating with ability to develop own priorities
• Conversant with Microsoft tools – Word; Excel; PPT; MSP Education and Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical illustration after graduation (Engineering preferred)
