Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, analyze, and author high-quality technical documentation in easy-to-understand and simple language
- Create user guides, API documentation, microcopies, tutorials, blog posts, release notes, video scripts and more for multiple releases of one or more products
- Work closely with various departments to understand project requirements and independently gather information from subject matter experts
- Work better on deadlines.
Mandatory Skills.
- 3-5 years of industry experience as an effective technical writer
- Experience creating developer documentation, installation & integration guides
- Experience working with engineering to improve the user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of building and hosting websites
- Thorough understanding of the working of a SaaS product
- Previous experience managing a team of writers
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, across multiple geographies
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Intellectually curious and learner for life
