Role and Responsibilities
- Should have exposure on Food packaging machine equipment and packaging materials.
- Should have knowledge on powder and liquid (bulk and Sachet) packaging machines.
- Knowledge on Troubleshooting of Packaging equipment's.
- Should have knowledge on Development of packaging materials and labels,Art work etc
- Should have knowledge on stability study of packing materials.
- Should have knowledge of validation of equipment's and Selection of packaging machines and materials.
- Knowledge and testing of packaging materials used for different food products.
- Ensure integrity of filled powder product in container/bags/Jerry can/pail, equipment adjustments to maintain integrity, daily lubrication, and cleaning.
- Should know all the compliance requirements of Packing, labelling,Weighment, Calibration etc
- Should have knowledge on GMP Documentation and FSSAI requirements requirement related to food manufacturing and packaging.
- Should also knowledge on SAP.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Packing technology.
Essential:
- Perform Routine Machine adjustments
- Trouble shooting & Problem solving
- Knowledge of Packaging materials and Packing machines
- Understanding of GMP concepts
Desirable:
- Decision making skills
- Inter-personal effectiveness
Work Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in FMCG/pharmaceutical/nutritional operations.
