Purpose of the Role
This position exists in order to develop new products and processes for the area of SQA, delivering products on time with the desired level of quality and robust manufacturing processes at supplier’s end with the objective of meeting QDCF targets within the limits of Electrical, Sheet Metal, R&P and Proto within the limit of a business plan.

Education
- BE/ Diploma Automobile
Experience
- Relevant Experience of 7 to 8 years work experience
Business Understanding
- Understanding of APQP & PPAP
- Manufacturing Processes of technologies like Electricals, R&P, and Sheet metal.
- Knowledge on problem-solving techniques like 8D, 7 QC tools, Ishikawa analysis, and 6 Sigma.
- Specific tools like RTS, PAA, and PHR.
- Knowledge of supplier base – Electrical, Sheet Metal, and R&P
Area of Responsibility
PLANING & EXECUTION
Understanding project requirements and perquisites, Develop a plan in the area of Electrical, Sheet Metal and R&P aligned with Project milestones, Identify critical components in his area, Drive APQP reviews before each release. Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks associated with the project, Develop a reliable process at the supplier’s end, Execute PPAP. In order to deliver the First Time Right product on time.
QAG Issue reduction
Root cause analysis of field failure through 8D, Implementation of corrective actions, Monitoring of efficacy. In order to meet the target of field issues in percentage term and aging.
Build NCs
Customer engagement: Ensure part inspection at the supplier end at Proto stage. Tool readiness before C builds for Electrical, R&P, and Sheet Metal Technology. The effective closure of NCs after occurrence through 8D.
Quality Impression
Surface treatment improvement on identified parts, Benchmarking competition vehicles, Driving handling improvements, Closure of NC observed during internal & external audits. In order to achieve demerit targets.
People Management
Manage self and team performance, engage and retain talent, Driving Values & VGAS action plan for Electrical, Sheet Metal, and R&P. In order, RC archive minimum attrition and employee engagement.
