The Team

The Australian member firm tax team has been operating since more than 10 years and is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us. You will assist and support the Australian Private Tax Services team located in 5 offices in Australia.

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support through Deloitte Tax in India. In recent years, member firms, such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, etc. have obtained support in their tax related practice through the Deloitte Tax in India.

Work you’ll do

Increasingly complex tax decisions can have a significant effect—positive or negative—on the future of clients’ business. Working on complex tax returns and preparing financial statements, you will assist the team with the compliance work.

key job responsibilities.

• Preparation and Review of Australian tax returns (Individual/Partnership/Corporate/Trust) and financial statements
• Preparation and Review of all ATO compliance reporting
• Working with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
• Provide other tax compliance assistance as required
• Communicate with the Australian teams as necessary
• Perform data entry/coding tasks on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis as necessary
• Liaising with onshore stakeholders and delivering results
• Working on various Australian accounting software

Other qualities:

• Work in a fast-paced environment on multiple assignments or engagements.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills required for teaming, both in office and virtual.

Required:

• Full time M. Com/MBA (Finance) with minimum of 60% and above or equivalent CGPA
• Strong accounting knowledge
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products — Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
• Aptitude for learning technology/client software
• Exposure to various analytical tools would be an added advantage

Work Location: Hyderabad, and Hybrid working model

Shift Timing- 9am-6pm
