JOB PURPOSE:  Responsible for facility performance levels to corporate targets for inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results.  Leads facility efforts to develop and implement the Plan for Every Part, Pull material Replenishment and improved throughput efficiency.

% Facility Parts on Pull  - performing to 100% of annual corporate target for qualified parts

JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for performing work to achieve corporate Supply Chain performance targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results. 

The incumbent is a key team member deploying the Supply Chain Planning Process, which develops the Plan for Every Part and Pull Replenishment methods for a facility.  

Incumbent is required to work effectively with diverse, multi-functional teams in order to apply the Supply Chain Planning process and lead team efforts to develop lean material flow plans for a facility, which may include implementing changes to factory floor layout and material presentation at the point of use. 

Incumbent gathers and analyzes data on facility demand and demand variability for each part required for production based on daily demand buckets for 120 work days.  This role gathers and analyzes data about supplier shipping performance and variability % for each part number (both Time and Qty) This position is develops material flow plans for all material coming into a facility for production.  Incumbent reviews, analyzes and cleans data prior to migration it into the PFEP Web Tool.  This position leads the work of Supply Chain Planning Analysts in the documentation of this data into the Plan for Every Part web tool.

The incumbent is responsible for creating and maintaining a site level Flow Map for parts used in production.  This position enables / coaches facility employees to utilize PFEP templates to load and maintain data in PFEP Web Tool, and provides reports and information to facility resources requiring PFEP information.

This position performs physical, tactical work across multiple functions to implement the Supply Chain Planning process and develop a Plan for Every part for every value stream in a facility, and is called upon to direct the work of Supply Chain Planning Analysts.  The incumbent must be able to work among production employees with little to no disruption to their workload, and lead others to deploy processes in the plant.  .

This position performs physical, tactical work across multiple functions to make improvements required to attain MQ or other like Certification for a Value Stream.  The incumbent performs physical, tactical work to reduce / eliminate Supply Chain constraints inside a value stream, working with a cross-functional team of personnel. 

Minimal Travel Required (5% - 15% working time)


POSITION IMPACTS:  Incumbent is responsible to achieve corporate Supply Chain performance targets, including improvements in Order-to-Delivery time, inventory levels / turns, MQ Certification requirements and Supply Chain assessments for a facility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•Experience and knowledge of complex lean concepts and tools
•Experience and knowledge about CPS Supply Chain principles, specifically those applied to pull replenishment using material replenishment tools and processes, Supply Chain Planning analytical tools, material flow and throughput efficiency
•Strong understanding of common Supply Chain systems.
•Knowledge of and / or experience deploying using 6Sigma Project Management principles.  
•Must possess leadership skills to effectively lead Supply Chain improvements making the best use of available resources, while maintaining strong people focus and fulfilling the responsibilities for leading people.
•Must possess strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common Supply Chain processes across multiple departments within a business division.
•Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve complex problems.
•Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and solid product knowledge
•Must be able to design and deploy lean systems in a highly productive environment with minimal disruption to daily requirements
•Qualification as a CPS Support Team Leader
•CPS Functional Job Role Qualified
•APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
•College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is required.
•Experience with the CPS RIW and Value Stream Transformation process 
•Minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible Supply Chain job experience
•Previous experience as a Supply Chain Planning Analyst or Engineer desired 
•Experience in the development and deployment of Supply Chain processes
•A background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing / Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics is highly desired.
