Subject Matter Expert (Sme) - Lte Ran

Requirement:-

Reports to: General Manager/Senior Manager

Experience: 18 -22 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical authority in LTE RAN technologies, providing guidance and leadership to engineering teams for the planning, design, implementation, and optimization of LTE RAN networks
• Network Planning and Optimization: Lead and contribute to the planning, dimensioning, and optimization of LTE RAN elements, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and optimal network performance.
• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor LTE RAN performance metrics, conduct performance analysis, and implement optimization strategies to improve network efficiency and quality of service.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide expert-level support to resolve escalated problems related to LTE RAN elements.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors, evaluate new technologies, assess equipment capabilities, and provide recommendations for LTE RAN infrastructure enhancements or upgrades.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of LTE RAN configurations, performance reports, optimization activities, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions, workshops, or seminars to disseminate knowledge and best practices related to LTE RAN technologies among team members or stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Extensive experience (X+ years) working with LTE RAN technologies, including hands-on experience with network planning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of LTE RAN architecture, protocols, standards (3GPP), and radio network performance KPIs.
• Proficiency in using network performance monitoring tools and analysis software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in a relevant field
• Certifications in LTE technologies or vendor-specific certifications.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud-based RAN solutions.
• Knowledge of 5G RAN technologies and their integration with LTE networks.
