Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operations of the stores department, including inventory management, stock control, and procurement
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including regular stocktaking and reconciliations
- Ensure efficient and effective utilization of storage space
- Supervise and train store staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill stock requirements and handle any stock-related issues
- Monitor and analyze sales and demand trends to forecast future stock needs
- Implement and maintain standards for handling, storing, and delivering goods
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
