Assistant Vice President (Revenue)

Overview:
As an Assistant Vice President in Revenue Management, it is a pivotal role in maximizing revenue streams and optimizing the financial performance of the organization. This role will play vital with the Revenue Management team and collaborate with various departments to implement strategies that enhance revenue growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development: Devise comprehensive Revenue Management strategies aligned with the company's objectives and market dynamics.
2. Pricing and Yield Management: Analyse market trends, demand patterns, and competition to set optimal pricing strategies and manage yield effectively.
3. Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop accurate revenue forecasts and budgets in coordination with finance and operations teams.
4. Performance Analysis: Monitor revenue performance, identify key performance indicators, and generate insightful reports to support decision-making processes.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Revenue Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Lead a team of Revenue Management professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
7. Technology Integration: Oversee the implementation and utilization of Revenue Management tools and systems to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks affecting revenue targets and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact.
9. Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners and distribution channels to enhance revenue streams.
10. Lead a team of Revenue Management professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
11. Present regular reports and insights to senior management regarding revenue performance and recommendations for improvement.
12. Implement revenue optimization best practices and stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or in a related field (master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in Revenue Management, pricing strategies, and financial analysis within the Hospitality sector.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on achieving revenue targets while maintaining customer value.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Leadership and managerial experience, with the ability to lead a diverse team and drive results with confidence.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Revenue Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to collaborate and resolve conflicts
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
