Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position as a Staff Accountant located in Modinagar. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records and reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. The day-to-day tasks would include managing account balances, preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, as well as knowledge of financial regulations
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred
- Experience in the transportation/ logistics industry is a plus
