SR. MANAGER- DPC PARTNER PROGRAM

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Responsible for leading the DPC Partner Program in the Emerging Market, accountable for Partner Program Net Sales achievement of your winning digital accounts and able to create profitable and sustainable growth through your local teams and their accounts.
  • Work closely with the Global Digital Partner Commerce organization, leading implementation of the overall digital sales acceleration strategy and initiatives, and ensuring relevance within the Market
  • Demonstrate leadership of your field of expertise and support Cluster Digital Partner Commerce (DPC) and account teams to execute the required initiatives and capabilities to “win the digital marketplace”
  • Driving the digital agenda across the market organization together with Market and Cluster Digital stakeholders to increase digital knowledge and experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing annual business plan for the Partner Program, covering topline and bottom line objectives
  • Creating yearly Joint Business Plans with DPC partners to grow Net Sales and Share on partner platform for your brand
  • Drive Partner Program Net Sales – Ensure monthly Net Sales achievement against the plans of the DPC partners within the assigned geography
  • Owning the Partner Program P&L, ensuring the delivery against the agreed KPIs
  • Drive efficiency in business operations to optimize Mark Down, reduce customer returns and overhead costs YOY
  • Work closely with the Partners and local DPC teams to ensure optimum focus on Partner Program exclusive articles or top sellers through Marketing Working Budget (MWB)
  • Work closely with the merchandising teams to ensure optimum stock coverage and review segmentation at a regular frequency
  • Develop good working relationship with finance to ensure timely provisions and reconciliation for accurate P&L forecasting
  • Develop and maintain digital competency within Market DPC
  • Responsible for scaling, implementation and governance of DPC initiatives (e.g. Digital Toolbox, Marketplace Management, compliance reports) within Emerging Market
  • Play active role in development of his/her team through trainings, coaching, workshops

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A Growth and a Digital mindset
  • Demonstrated success in Key Account management with proven track record of successfully managing large accounts preferably in the Sporting Goods or Fashion industry
  • Broad and deep functional knowledge in Sales (eCommerce, operational, financial and processes), with some exposure to digital consumer experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communication and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge (e.g. sales, retail, trade marketing, customer service, finance and controlling)
  • Independent & Interdependent working style: Able to work on his/her own towards organizational goals and at the same time able to drive goals through the team.
  • Zoom In / Zoom Out: Ability to work through the minute details and at the same time keep overarching company goals in mind.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Comfort with data and ability to interpret what it says
  • High initiative, proactiveness and pragmatism in approach.
  • Proven track record of delivering against sales targets.
  • Comfort with with Digital analytics and levers to drive sales success through digital channels.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in business with marketing and sales focus
  • Minimum 12+ years of sales experience within large sales organisations, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG / Durables /Telecom of which min 5 years in Sales
  • Minimum 5 yrs experience in people management role
  • IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills – Excel, Power-point, Word
