Job Description
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality iOS applications, leading the technical design and implementation of features, and mentoring junior iOS engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality, user-friendly and robust iOS applications that meet business goals and user needs.

- Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift and other iOS frameworks.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and backend engineers to gather requirements, provide technical recommendations, and ensure alignment of iOS application development with business goals.
- Architect and implement complex features, solving technical challenges, and ensuring high performance, reliability, and usability of iOS applications.
- Lead the technical design and implementation of features, including architecture, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate iOS engineers, reviewing their code, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Perform code reviews, conduct performance analysis, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to iOS development.
- Drive and maintain a robust testing strategy, including unit testing, automated testing, and continuous integration, to ensure high-quality, bug-free iOS applications.
- Participate in the planning, estimation, and prioritization of development tasks, and contribute to the overall iOS development roadmap.
- Stay up to date with the latest iOS development trends, best practices, and technologies, and apply them in the development process to continuously improve the quality and performance of iOS applications.
- Ensure compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines and other relevant industry standards for iOS application development.
- Act as a technical liaison with other teams, stakeholders, and external partners, providing technical expertise and guidance on iOS-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages, as well as iOS frameworks, such as SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Animation, Core Data, and others.
- Proven experience in designing and developing complex iOS applications with a strong understanding of software architecture patterns, such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
- Deep understanding of iOS platform capabilities, performance optimization techniques, and memory management.
- Experience with unit testing, CD/CI, and version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Familiarity with backend technologies, such as RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Firebase.
- Strong understanding of human interface guidelines and design principles for iOS applications.
- Published iOS applications on the App Store.
