Honeywell is seeking a Senior Specialist, HTS Communications, reporting to the Director, R&D Communications, based in Bangalore. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a poised and savvy communications professional who wants to help shape the future.
The person in this role will help execute internal communication campaigns that drive employee engagement and build the HTS brand and Leadership profiles across all internal target audiences – specializing in India. The specialist develops robust, strategic internal communication plans and materials involving email communications, talking points, posts, videos, and other high-profile deliverables.
Storytelling experience and prowess is a must as this individual will help guide efforts to consistently develop creative, compelling, and human-focused content that connects Honeywell employees with each other, leaders, and the company’s strategic initiatives. Fluency in and passion for analytics is also imperative as we seek to measure and interpret data that help us enhance our communication practices across the company.
Finally, the individual in this role must be willing to roll up sleeves and help execute and promote signature internal events including quarterly Global Town Meetings, local HTS India meetings and other India focused community events.
The ideal candidate will be a confident, independent communications professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience. A corporate or agency background is a plus, and managing multiple projects concurrently is required. This individual should have outstanding executive presence and a keen interest in understanding a business, a strong orientation toward process and organization, and the ability to influence partners and clients in a highly matrixed corporate environment. Outstanding written and verbal communication are required, as is mastery of Associated Press Style.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute communications strategy focused on HTS India priorities, mission, and messages, supporting efforts to strengthen employee engagement and drive business results.
Support major HTS India internal communications initiatives, organization transitions, leadership changes, and other transformation steps through innovative and effective communication plans that address the needs of varied audiences and stakeholders.
Focus on executing the details around communications excellence, including communications platforms and message delivery.
Conduct thorough research to understand relevant, interconnected issues and prepare materials that help senior directors communicate effectively with key audiences
Support cross-company measurement of internal communications effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Raise the bar on the quality of communications by guiding content strategies that result in elegantly simple, visually compelling, and easily understandable communications.
Support the execution of the Global Town Meetings and other local India HTS meetings
YOU MUST HAVE:
A bachelor's degree.
2+ years of demonstrated successful experience in communications, especially in a corporate or an agency environment.
