Purpose of the Role: Tata Steel Foundation's Jamshedpur Unit (Urban Services), imparts regular training in various sporting disciplines across all of its twelve community centres. Such trainings help in identifying and nurturing latent sports talents and also provide constructive guidance to the youth. To conduct regular training at the centre we have engaged Sports Coaches at the centre, who provide training to the youth in different discipline and organize competition to nurture the talent and prepare them for district/state and national championships. To improve and expand sports facilities in Urban Services Community Centre, we propose to hire Sports Coaches on TSF Contract Role.

Reporting Relationship:
Coach --- Functional --- Manager, Urban Services
Coach --- Administrative --- Area Officer, Urban Services
Minimum Qualification: Graduate /Diploma in Sports or Physical Education or equivalent from a recognized Institute
Work experience in years: 1- 2 years of relevant work experience and above
Key Deliverables:
1) Provide regular coaching to the players and aspiring sports pupils
2) Identify and Engage potential new talent from across different locations of Jamshedpur
3) Monitor the performance and provide technical guidance to the players / aspiring sports pupils
4) Conduct various Sports Tournaments in consultation with and after taking recommendations of the department
5) Collaborate with sports bodies / federations / organisations and make arrangements for players/sports pupils to participate in tournaments organised
6) Monitor all type of sports training provided at Community Centers

Technical Skill Sets required:
- Certification / License to coach pupils from Sports Authority of India or any other national sports agency
- Extensive knowledge of the sports federation's rules and regulations, as well as experience working with professional players
- Adept in MS-Office
- Coordinating with diverse stakeholders and managing complex infrastructure projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Hindi)
