As a Software Architect Lead in Diagnostics Insights SW organization, you will participate in the development of Laboratories and Point of Care digital products together with the different business areas to lead the digitalization of diagnostics and provide data & access to the rest of the customer areas.
Your role as an Architect Lead will play a vital part in bridging various product requirements with the technology. You will be responsible for ensuring the feasibility of these products, understanding the needs of the business, and making informed technology decisions. We are seeking someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about technology and comprehends its profound impact on the business.
As a lead, you will be instrumental in fostering the growth of the team, empowering them to overcome any obstacles they may encounter and providing valuable guidance based on your extensive experience. Your role will contribute to their continuous improvement as architects, ensuring they thrive and excel
Main tasks and duties:
Create and/or drive the creation of architectures consistent with project roadmaps, platform strategies, governance policy, and standards
Responsible for ensuring feasibility, participating activelry during the development part of the delivery and advising projects on technology and architecture trends they need for their decision making
Mentoring other engineers to grow to similar levels of expertise and effectiveness
Represent Architecture during agile ceremonies
Ensure proper alignment with Enterprise Architecture
Providing technical leadership, career development and coaching for team members.
Establishing performance targets for the team members and performing appraisals.
Communicate effectively in English
Education
University Degree
Work / Professional Experience
Experience in designing Solution Architecture with a focus on achieving quality attributes / non functional requirements
Experience: At least 5-10 years as a solutions / software architect
Experience: At least 3 years as a people lead
Experience in large, international and complex development projects.
Experience in acting as a liaison between governance bodies like enterprise architecture, quality and the project team
IT Competences
Experience in architecting cloud-based solutions (required)
Experience in architecting IoT solutions (desired)
Experience in architecting large solutions involving development and integration of multiple systems and components. (required)
Experience with software architecture and architectural patterns (required)
Experience with data privacy regulations and regulated environments (preferred)
Experience with Cloud vendors Azure, AWS
Experience defining REST and JSON based APIs (desired)
Healthcare data standards (ASTM, HL7, IHE, DICOM) (desired)
