Qualification : (desired skills and experience)
Diploma or Graduate in EE/ ECE or relevant field
Experienced in all aspects of PV maintenance, including
- PV DC operations,
- AC medium voltage systems,
- Network communications and monitoring
- Inverter diagnostics and repair.
- Demonstrated diagnostic capabilities to trouble shoot and correct problems found in the field.
- Skilled in the use of testing equipment and tools such as
- Demonstrated diagnostic capabilities to trouble shoot and correct problems found in the field.
- Thermo graphic Electrical Inspection
- IV Curve Tracing
- Meggers
- Ground Fault Detection
- EHS / OSHA Training
- NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety
- Ability to read and understand electrical single-line and three-line diagrams
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
- Provide direction and on-the-job training for less experienced technicians
- Must have the ability to travel, work on-call during off-shift hours and weekends.
