With specialisms in 3D graphics, ray tracing, virtual reality, games engines and UI, the Lightworks team supports sophisticated visualization usage across the world-leading Siemens product design software range and directly with end users
- Siemens Digital Industries Software in Pune is looking for a Learning Architect to join our Global Delivery Network team.
- Create/Design project test plans to qualify the contents of project requirements and functional specifications. Focus is on automated testing. Proactively setup a test strategy and process. Design test cases listed in the project test plan. Improve test specifications by analyzing the root causes of technical issues, and develop testing solutions for those root causes. Create and apply new approaches as necessary to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing. Acquire customer inputs for project testing purposes. Technical lead in guiding junior test automation engineers.
- Work with minimal supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment.
- Evaluate the functional and non-functional requirements for testability, and use suitable cases for automation
- Develop/build a test automation strategy and focus specifically on maximizing reusability for regression
- Design, build and execute automated tests to validate product design
- Identify regression testing needs and create and maintain Automated Regression tests
- Provide test execution reports
- Work closely with architects to analyze the end-to-end scenarios, gather requirements, and design the test cases that needs to be automated
- Maintain automated scripts utilizing the existing framework, adhering to coding standards
- Participate in troubleshooting and drive root cause analysis and resolution
Prerequisites:
- In your new position, you are responsible for supporting the platform development which covers the core functionalities of Industrial Edge
- The main tasks of your new role will be the design, implementation and testing of software components with the focus on high quality and robust solutions.
- You will be collaborating with teams across multiple international locations
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You have successfully completed your technical bachelor's degree or have obtained a comparable education with relevant professional experience
- You are a Full Stack Developer with min 6+ years of experience.
- Coding expertise in Golang / Java and UI frameworks (preferably Angular) is strongly desired.
- You have experience in DevOps (e.g. CICD in Gitlab) and are able to work within Linux/UNIX environments.
- Good knowledge of Docker, AWS and Kubernetes is an additional plus.
- You have an eye for quality regarding clean code and automated tests, as well as a continuous strive for improvements.
- Further, you are passionate to learn and keen to constantly improve and develop skills to stay up to date.
- You are able to closely collaborate with your Scrum team members, as well as with many international colleagues, and moreover can ensure and introduce best practices in the team
