Site Digital Technology Leader, IT-OT (Information Technology Operations Technology)

About the IT-OT Team

The ITOT team is part of core digital team at our manufacturing plants, responsible to drive best in class IT operations and transformation/simplification via digitization at the site. This includes driving operational excellence using IT operations skills to manage the site infrastructure and all critical applications at site which are crucial to ensure business continuity. Apart from this, the team also partners with plant manager and leadership team to define key digital projects which will help us drive down losses. The areas we focus on are touchless operations and quality, data and analytics and AI/ML driven projects.

Job Description

Are you a tech-savvy professional interested in leading digital operations for a P&G manufacturing site or distribution center? This is an exciting and dynamic role in which you will ensure critical digital applications and infrastructure at the site are running smoothly, with the proper resilience in place, and are fully complaint and secure. You will also be empowered to drive continuous improvements while building your supply chain experience, gaining deep IT mastery, and applying that mastery to accelerate your site’s digital journey.

Success Criteria (Base Job Expectation)

  • 100% team safety qualification and safety program participation with 0 safety incidents

  • Stewardship/Compliance: Global Internal Audit (GIA) IT Audit Score> 7.5, 0 GIA overdue major issues.

  • In process IT metrics: IT MAGICS (Maintain Appropriate Governance and Internal Controls) >90%, 100% MAGICS defects closure; IT Compliance projects (e.g., Windows CE, DCOM), ITCP revision and test failovers completion.

  • Operational Excellence and Business Continuity: Business Quality of Service (BQoS) <=2 Non-Quality Days (NQD)/month, unplanned downtime (metric TBC).

  • Business unit (BU) portfolio sufficiency in line with plant Compelling Business Need (CBN)/business direction.

  • 100% 1 Portfolio tool accuracy with Status, Cost, Value tracked monthly.

  • All key digital projects delivered with aligned success criteria, on time and with quality.

  • IT Key services @plant provided by third parties (HCL, Xerox, etc.) delivered as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and with high customer service feedback.

Success Criteria (Above Base Job Expectation)

  • Responsible for Digital projects and pilots successfully delivered according to aligned success criteria.

  • Responsible for ensuring a culture of continuous digital upskilling at the site, with at least 1 quarterly training event (on the floor events, Digital accelerator, skill matrix, vitamins).

Responsibilities of the roles

1. Drive operational excellence at the site. Work with a multi-functional team to ensure any system or infrastructure issues are timely communicated and fixed ~ 25% Capacity.

  • Ensure no IT system/infrastructure related issues cause any business impact at the site.

    Implement proactive monitoring solutions to identify and address potential issues before they start.

    Establish strong processes to ensure any issue is timely communicated and remediated in a timely manner working with site key users and local and global support teams where applicable.

  • Participate and actively contribute to regular digital portfolio reviews with key stakeholders from plant, central Business Unit (BU) organization and Global Business Services (GBS).

  • Partner with GBS service lines leaders/Single Points of Contact (SPOCs) to deliver the plant operational targets, stewardship, drive business growth and value, and enable the Integrated Work System (IWS) framework digital pillar progression.

  • Participate in the multi-functional plant digital team master plan drumbeat.

  • Support P&G’s “Smart from the Start” strategy for site expansion projects.

2. Responsible for ensuring strong digital stewardship and IT Controls - Audits Ready Every Day ~ 50% capacity.

  • Work with our cybersecurity team to ensure the security of our IT environment, including compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Execute a robust IT change management process, preventing incidents/unplanned outages.

  • Achieve IT compliance IT Continuity Assessments and IT Resiliency, Operational and Disaster Recovery to both industry and P&G standards.

  • Ensure IT Continuity planning is in place (Infrastructure and application continuity, IT resiliency, operational & disaster recovery).

  • Work with the corresponding service lines (E.g., GBS People Services ) to address any escalations or service improvement opportunities.

3. Lead and deliver new value for the site and / or category ~ 25% capacity.

  • Lead a minimum of 1 digital project per year to enable site or category value.

  • Lead a minimum of 1 digital pilot per year leveraging P&G Data Architecture, AI and Manufacturing Data Flow (MDF) Architecture, bringing to life AI use cases to deliver business value.

Job Qualifications

Role Requirements (Expected)

Degree: Undergraduate qualifications or relevant professional experience in respective technical area.

  • IT operations: Proven experience in IT operations or a related role. Incident management/Change management/Problem management.

  • IT Systems: Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and software.

  • Integrated Risk Management: Understanding of IT compliance, governance and risk management.

  • Project Management: Ability to successfully deliver small to medium projects with excellent collaboration and discipline.

  • Collaboration/stakeholder management: Ability to work effectively with a multifunctional team at the site, and broader teams across., to deliver operational excellence for the site.

  • Leadership: Self-starter. Willingness and ability to challenge the status quo, learn continuously, and apply expertise to deliver business value.

  • Fluent in English.

Role Expectations (Preferred):

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure (Network, Voice, PC, Servers etc.) and experience in managing IT operations in a live environment.

  • Experience in leading and managing projects.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity and business continuity.

  • Certified in CISA, ITIL Foundation, CCNA, PMP.

  • Programming knowledge and experience desired, i.e., Python, SQL, C/C++, C#, etc.
