ServiceNow ITOM Developer

  

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

What you’ll do:


Responsibilities will include:

This role is for an ITOM Developer in ServiceNow for Managed Services & Advisory and & Professional Services.
Identified developer will work in areas of IT Operations Management to include Event Management Integrations of Applications, Orchestration of Incident Remediation, Process & Workflow and Cloud Automation and will be part of Platform Engineering team.


Core responsibility will be to write clean, efficient, unit-testable code with minimal support needed
• Will adhere to the coding and review practices laid down by the team
• Equally responsible for the quality and timeliness of the modules you are working on
• Expected to document the pseudo code as applicable w.r.t the templates.
• Display keen interest in the latest technologies and share that knowledge with peers and managers.

Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting and PowerShell will be needed.
• Should have working experience in event management module, integration with event management module from monitoring tool
• You will have deep insights to customer requirements, business needs and we have
 

What you need to bring:

• Great organization skills to prioritize, follow up, deliver, and communicate status of assigned actions.

Should have working experience in Cloud Management Module of servicenow.
• Should have built some automation script for customer to save cost.
• Should have knowledge on integrating multiple tools as per requirement and should be capable enough to write script in any language
• Should have knowledge on cloud platform like AWS, Azure
• Have a passion for Programming and problem solving
• Prior working experience with any ITSM tools will be an added advantage
• Deep knowledge on Object Oriented Programming Concepts (OOPS) and Object-Oriented Design Principles
• Debugging skill along with coding skills is very important
• Well aware of the importance and techniques of writing unit testable code
• Prior knowledge of ITIL process will be an added advantage.
