Service Pricing BI - Business Analyst -

Within Services capability of Schneider Digital / Digital Customer Relationship (DCR) practice, you are acting as Business Analyst responsible for collecting, assessing, and converting business requirements into technical specifications for Business Intelligence (BI) projects focused on Pricing.

Your responsibilities are to:

·Interact with business stakeholders to get complex business & functional requirements then translate them into technical ones.

·Elicit, analyze, validate, and document reporting and analytics business requirements, processes, and business rules to drive business solutions.

·Possess or acquire the knowledge to match business needs by selecting appropriate technologies, with an ability to provide alternatives & resolve technical challenges, according to the business need and technological capabilities / limitations.

·Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure functional understanding of change requests to existing implementations, documenting the need for the technical team.

·Gather and structure information from various data sources.

·Create & maintain back-end data architecture and data models.

·Ensure optimal communication, resolution, and issue closure.

·Apply technical improvements to ensure BI solutions are properly evolving according to company standards.

·Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources, create ad-hoc queries based on different business requirements.

·Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate data and system changes, and provide a framework to support end user acceptance testing.

·Prepare scripts in SQL that will be industrialized by back-end developers.

Qualifications

·6+ years’ experience as Data Analyst / BI Business Analyst

·Excellent SQL skills

·Knowledge using BI tools: Tableau, Oracle Business Intelligence, Birst, PowerBI…

·Data bases: Oracle 12c, RedShift, PostgreSQL, Exasol,…

·Experience with data query of complex datasets.

·Data modelling, and data preparation, ensuring data quality by keeping control of missing data, mistakes, inconsistencies, or inadequacy.

·Data flow architecture.
