Required Skills
Experience with WordPress custom themes and plugin development.
Strong PHP knowledge, understanding and development skills (outside of WordPress)
Strong knowledge of custom JavaScript/jQuery coding.
Strong understanding of HTML and basic understanding of CSS is preferred.
Intermediate to advanced experience with WordPress core functions and best practices
The ability to work on multiple projects while coding quickly & efficiently is essential
Excellent communication both written and spoken language skills

Responsibilities
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
Technical Skills
l Expertise in HTML5 and CSS 3 using Flex based layouts
l Knowledge of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize, Tailwind etc
l Should have worked on CMS like WordPress, Shopify, WIX, SquareSpace etc.
l Ability to convert any design to a WordPress theme
l Prior experience with page builders like Elementor, Visual Composer, Divi etc.
l Ability to write any custom code in JavaScript and jQuery.
l Understanding of JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular JS a plus.
l Must have used design tools like FIGMA, Adobe XD or Adobe Photoshop.
Non-Technical Skill Requirements
l Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
l Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
l Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes
l Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
l Excellent communication skills.
