ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Our team develops integration solutions at airports into our AMS product, as well as 3rd party to 3rd party entities. We have a high-paced environment which requires quick turnaround. We follow Agile development principles and have a CI workflow. We require testers to assure quality implementation of integration services through testing. This role also requires the assistance with customer UAT testing and customer interaction. As a tester in our team you are also required to create test cases from Functional Requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICD). We required testers familiar with testing tools such as SOAP-UI, Ready API, Postman and test management tools.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Be willing to gain knowledge of Airport Integration solutions.
- Analyze functional specifications and interface control documents to create test scenarios, tests cases.
- Create RTM
- Create and executes test cases.
- Create and execute automated test cases.
- Records and analyses action and results and maintains a defect register.
- Reviews test results and modifies tests if necessary.
- Reports on progress to stakeholders.
- Interact with Business Analysts, Technical analyst, and support teams to understand requirements to create testing plans and documentation.
- Interact with developer and team leaders to clarify understandings in testing and to provide guidance on what needs the testing expectations are.
- Technical troubleshooting of the issues.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in testing solutions using tools such as Soap-UI, Ready-API
- Experience in writing clear and concise test cases from functional documentation.
- Experience in testing and reporting on test cases.
- Ability to quickly research and learn new tools and techniques.
- Prior experience on Web services testing, XML, SOA, Middleware messaging.
- Good working knowledge of Test Management tools ideally including ALM Octane
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Test
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with aviation domain will be an advantage.
- Prior experience on integration testing is an added advantage.
