As part of the technical leadership team, you will contribute to the mission of the software function by collaborating on delivery of quality products, innovation, product functioning and development of team capabilities.
In this role you will be directing, influencing and driving the function of User Interface Development, using modern JavaScript technology, interacting with backend workloads running in Cloud environment. You will follow the Organization’s Design System Standards and use UI Elements from a library of reusable UI Components and Patterns. You will assist the QA Teams to establish a Test Strategy based on Behaviour Driven Development paradigm.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on industry experience of 15 yrs. in overall Software Development Infrastructure Engineering functions, including on-prem environment and minimum 6 yrs. of proven experience in the Cloud context.
• Understand the vision to design and integrate quality within Software Development Life Cycle, following SAFe / Agile methodologies.
• Thorough understanding and appreciation of the Six Pillars of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Design, establish and manage complete Software System Reliability Monitoring Infrastructure in the Cloud, ensuring committed Reliability, Availability, Recoverability and overall performance Key Performance Indicators.
• Actively dealing with the Four golden signals of system monitoring, namely Latency, Traffic, Errors and Saturation.
• Take and own on-call responsibilities of responding to incidents and fixing issues following SLAs and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Actively contribute to functions like Build automation, CI, CD & CT in Cloud-first paradigm over containerized deployment environment.
• Supporting the DevSecOps and ITOps in upkeeping the nightly builds, static code analysis, static/dynamic application security testing scheme and vulnerability scan procedures.
• With strong knowledge of provisioning and operational cost for various AWS Services, to help the System Architect in overall cost estimation of Cloud solutions.

Desired Technical skills / experience:

• Demonstrable experience of leading UI Architecture in JavaScript platform, preferable using Angular.
• Thorough appreciation of RAIL model of performance analysis of WebApps, browser rendering and overall performance.
• Proven understanding of UX Design Processes and Design Systems.
• Thorough understanding of Cloud Native Architecture.
• Expertise with browser internals, DOMs, HTML5, CSS3, Typescript etc.
• Proven hands-on experience with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility aspects.
• Demonstrable consistently upgraded skills on Angular or other comparable JS framework, like React, Ember etc.
• Expert-level knowledge of RESTful architecture and APIs.
• Expertise with technologies like Node and Webpack, proficiency in concepts like tree shaking etc.
• Experience with Component Development Kit (CDK) in Angular
• Experience with key Angular features like Component Lifecycle and Lifecycle Hooks, Routes, CLI, creating dynamic components etc.
• Proven hands-on experience of working with AWS services, namely IAM, EKS, Lambda, ALB, API Gateway, S3, RDS etc.
• Experience of performing Chaos Experiments using AWS Step Functions and AWS Fault Injection Simulators.
• General understanding of Database Management Systems, including NoSql DBs.
• Advanced level experience with Docker, Containers and Helm Charts.
• Extensive experience in overseeing CI/CD/CT pipelines operations for SaaS Systems, namely Gitlab etc.
• Proven proficiency with at least one scripting/programming language, e.g. Python, PowerShell.
• Thorough understanding of various deployment strategies, namely blue-green, Canary etc.
• Experience in Healthcare domain, appreciations of standards and Regulatory Compliance requirements like GDPR, HIPPA etc.

Preferred professional training and certification

• Certification in Angular Technology – Intermediate or Advanced.
• Certified Internet Web Professionals or JavaScript Institute certification - Advanced or Associate Level.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
