AddressLead Software Engineer - Backend (Python)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Lead software engineer – python developer to join our product team who is passionate about enhancing the customer experience of the product.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will design and implement micro services using AWS python lambda, and document, test, fix and enhance systems when needed. In your agile team, you will closely work with engineers, architects, managers, Product Owner, Team Captain, QA and operations teams, and create solutions that meet business requirements. You will be front facing with the customer, coordinate the deliverable, design solution, share the feedback and lead the development team at offshore.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SDLC and should be individual contributor,
- Experience in programming in Python and building RESTful APIs or micro services using AWS python lambda.
- Experience in PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
- Experience or certification in AWS.
- Experience building, developing solutions using the Elastic Search will be plus
- Good experience and have in-depth knowledge of Apache Kafka and writing stream processing applications
- Experience in NoSql database like Cassandra, MongoDB will be plus
- Hands on experience with JIRA, Agile methodology, Jenkins CI/CD Pipeline, source code management - GIT.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Write unit and e2e test cases to cover every line of code
- Knowledge of any framework like Django, Flask framework or any other
- Knowledge of Linux environments.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of React or equivalent framework will be plus.
